I love knitting that makes me think and keeps me on my toes. It’s my “mindful knitting” and when I’m working on it I live fully in the moment, notice exactly what’s in front of me and concentrate.
You’ll want to steal away from the hubbub of the world and curl up in a quiet corner when you cast on your Mindful shawl. Take your time and enjoy the process.
Mindful is a modern lace shawl featuring striking lacework and a dramatic picot border and this new expanded version of my original Mindful shawl includes two sizes; the original single skein shawl and a larger shawl using two skeins of fingering-weight yarn. The crescent shape is fantastically wearable and both sizes look gorgeous draped in a variety of styles.
The lace patterns are rhythmic and symmetrical, and are set out clearly in both written and charted instructions.
